Popular Merchant Services is the merchant acquiring and payment processing division associated with Popular Inc. and Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico's largest financial institution. The service provides businesses with solutions for accepting electronic payments, processing card transactions, managing point-of-sale operations, and supporting e-commerce payments.

Popular Merchant Services helps merchants accept debit cards, credit cards, digital payments, and other electronic transactions through secure payment infrastructure. Historically, parts of Popular's merchant acquiring operations have worked closely with EVERTEC, one of the region's largest payment processors and operator of the ATH Network.
